The Meidän-EmpowerHer activity is a continuation of the long-term Safe Corner work as an equal opportunity and inclusion intervention for immigrants, providing support for the integration and well-being of young girls, women, and their families through monthly peer groups. Safe Corner Meidän-EmpowerHer activity strengthens the well-being of immigrant women and their families through peer group activities at Evl Palosaari's address. All immigrant women are warmly welcome to join the activity.

The objective of our activities is to improve the emotional, social, and economic well-being of immigrant women and children by fostering inclusion, resilience, and access to essential services. It also promotes the mental and physical well-being of immigrant women as part of their integration. In addition, Safe Corner activities aim to strengthen the inclusion of women outside the workforce by promoting learning and employment skills. Expert visits, language and literacy courses, peer support groups, counselling and individual guidance, group exercises, and meeting café activities for immigrant women and other interested people, are ways our activities promote integration.
