Activities in Finland
Safe Corner works with immigrants in Finland, focusing on support for well-being, equal opportunities, and integration. The target group is young immigrant girls and women, and the vulnerable population living in Vaasa. The organized activities take place in the city hall premises. Currently, two projects are running - IPGAIW and NIGEANTI. We also organise smaller-scale activities, such as group activities focusing on mother-daughter interaction.

Sharing Cafe
The new project by Safe Corner would support women of immigrant backgrounds in working and performing effectively. The activities would consist of monthly open and close individual counselling sessions.
IPGAIW
The IPGAIW activity is a progression of the long-term Safe Corner work as an equal opportunity and inclusion intervention for immigrants, providing support on integration and well-being of young girls, women, and their families through monthly peer groups.
NIGEANTI
The NIGEANTI project focuses on the everyday challenges faced by Nigerian and other immigrant teenagers living in a multicultural environment. The project also involves the supporting of interaction between these teenagers, their parents and having a balanced school life.
Safe Corner offers customised courses and lectures for students and professionals in their respective fields.
